Wine is our ancient drink. It brings people together, connects us to those who came before, and captures the senses and the imagination. It transports us. We've been making small-lot kosher wine in California since 2007, from vineyards we know well, with the aim of making every bottle worth sharing.
Winemaking
Every Hajdu wine is certified kosher, and all of them are kosher for Passover.
We don't add yeast or any fining agents, and most of our wines are unfiltered.
The winery
Jonathan Hajdu started Hajdu Wines in 2007. We make every wine at our winery on 6th Street in Berkeley, from fruit grown in Mendocino County, Anderson Valley, Napa Valley, Lodi, Contra Costa County, Oregon's Willamette Valley and Washington's Red Mountain.
